Drag And Drop

To execute drag and drop behavior we provide the new mouse click types Left Mouse Button Down/Up which provide the drag and drop methodology.

These new types are available for the following activities:

In order to execute it correctly, the Click Type must be selected at first. Left mouse button down means that a (left) mouse click is executed on the indicated element which you want to move. Left mouse button up means that you release the (left)mouse button and drop the element in the desired destination you indicated before.


The method is only executable with the Click Method Element Coordinates. If this method is not selected the activity will show the following error:


Please Note! Be aware of the fact that the default click point is set at the top left corner of the indicated element. To make sure that the element is clicked correctly we recommend adjusting the offset.

This video is based on the former AM products before the switch and rebranding to Hyland RPA.
