Every automation project must follow one simple rule, The Golden Rule, that defines the underlying structure of all building blocks (the different parts that make up the process).

Scope activities establish a specific arena in which the robot performs its actions. The Golden Rule can be broken down into the following three steps:

  1. Application: Open the application or browser of your choice (see activities Open Application and Open Browser).
  2. Window: Attach the selected window with a given title. This guarantees that the action(s) will be executed in the right window (see activity Attach Window).
  3. Activity: Execute the selected action(s) in the selected window.
